Not a single day has gone by in the last 18 months where I did not struggle to come up with new words to describe the global movement to address humanity's biggest concerns, which we find ourselves in the middle of right now. The main problem is that our industry ('Posse' might be a better word for us) has not been successful at setting widely accepted definitions and standards for what it actually means to be 'Green' or 'Eco' or 'Sustainable'. This has led to debate and controversy as governments, companies, organizations and individuals try to figure out what is what.

We now live in an era where words like Organic, Sustainable, Conscious and Eco are a common part of everyday conversation. There is a global desire to standardize these terms to create a common understanding. All great businesses, it has been said, solve some problem that people have. If one wants to create a successful business, one need only begin by seeking out a problem that needs solving. We were excited to sit down with Elephant Magazine founder, Waylon Lewin, and share the Eco Gift vision!  We are so thrilled to be creating the first ever large-scale eco-conscious gift show that provides people with an uplifting experience and a solution to the inconveniences and terrible waste associated with the holidays and holiday shopping. The first will be held on December 15th & 16th at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.
